Television Show of the Year

When I was younger, I used to watch this one show every day.  As soon as it was over, the show Gilmore Girls preceded it, however I never watched until just this year.
I have no idea why I never watched Gilmore Girls until this year.  It is seriously the best television dramedy (comedy/drama), ever! The hour-long show is filled with amazing plot lines, loveable characters, lightning fast dialogue, and witty allusions.
The show is basically about the two protagonists’- Lorelai and Rory Gilmore- mother-daughter relationship in their small town.  Lorelai gave birth to Rory when she was only 16 and left her family to work at a hotel.  The show takes place 16 years later when Rory is a sophomore in high school.  The show was very successful and ran for seven seasons.  Sadly, it was canceled it 2007; however repeats are on every day.
Gilmore Girls is a charming, heartwarming show about the aspects of living in a small town and the people living in it.  The show teaches viewers many life lessons, and in a comical way.  Overall, Gilmore Girls is my favorite television program and deserves to be the Television Show of the Year.
